Do you have a sharp eye for detail and a passion for finance? As a accounting partner, you’ll be at the heart of our financial operations, helping manage receivables, support key accounting processes, and contribute to the overall financial accuracy and efficiency of our organization.

In this role, you’ll take on a variety of finance and administrative tasks, including:

Finance:

• Assist with consolidating financial data and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Provide backup for the indirect procurement process, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and VAT declarations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
• Coordinate with external partners such as the accounting team in Portugal, tax authorities, and auditors.

Collections:

• Develop and implement collection strategies to ensure timely payments.
• Monitor payment deadlines, send reminders, and follow up as needed.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve disputes in a professional and customer-oriented manner.
• Prepare collection files and report on progress to management.
• qualifications
• You have a strong foundation in accounting and a good understanding of financial principles.
• You are familiar with ERP systems such as SAP, and you’re confident using Excel and Google Suite.
• You have basic knowledge of commercial law, especially in relation to debt collection and payment terms.
• You’re a strong communicator in English and either Dutch or French.
• You are results-driven, analytical, and possess strong problem-solving skills.
• You have experience with VAT declarations and financial reporting, or you’re eager to learn and develop in this area.
